  Customs procedures applied when goods are being imported:
  • Import declaration form must be completed in respect of the consignment,
  • Proforma invoices showing the value of the goods,
  • Specification of the goods and packing list,
  • Bills of lading,
  • Inspection certificates in respect of goods exceeding KShs. 500,000.
