Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee visits Belgium 17/10/2016

Members of the Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee (CIOC) made a working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium from 10 to 18 October 2016. The members visited the various Belgian Parliaments (Walloon Parliament, Flemish Parliament, Chamber of Representatives and Senate) to better understand how the devolved system of governance works in Belgium.

The CIOC is manadated to oversee the implementation of The Constitution, 2010 and strenthening of the institutions formed under the constitution.
