Amb. Johnson Weru visits CMI Balteau 27/01/2016
HE Amb. Johnson Weru, Kenya’s ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg and the EU, met with Mr. Vincent Pissart, CEO of CMI Balteau, when he paid a courtesy call to the company in Sprimont, Belgium, on 25 January 2016.
In December 2015, CMI Balteau signed a €12 million (Kshs 150 million) project for drilling underground water in Kajiado County. The project will sink over 50 boreholes, and construct water tanks and consumption points for local people and their animals.
CMI Balteau will undertake three other major water projects in Kenya, worth over €100 million (Kshs 1 billion), in three counties as follows: Vihiga (rehabilitation and expansion of water production sites of Maseno, Mbale and Kaimosi); Home Bay (Ndhiwa and Rapodi); and Kisii/Nyamira water supply.
