Amb. Weru Pays Courtesy Call on Finexpo 13/10/2015

On Monday 12 October 2015, H.E. Amb. Johnson Weru paid a courtesy call on the new Director of Finexpo at the Belgian Foreign Ministry, Ms. Sylvie Graffe. Finexpo studies the dossiers submitted by companies and banks seeking public aid for export credits. Finexpo’s intervention options depend on the country to which one wishes to export.

Some Belgian companies that have already received funding for projects in Kenya include Soulco - for the county connectivity programme; FSE - for provision of medical equipment to district hospitals; the Ngong Hills Wind Mill projects; and provision of fire engines.

Finexpo's interventions include stabilisation of interest, interest credit, interest with gift, gift and tied state-to state loans.
