  • Round one of tax negotiations with Belgium concluded 27/10/2014

    Kenya and Belgium concluded round one of week-long negotiations on the avoidance of double taxation and fiscal evasion. The negotiations are the first step towards realising the signing of an agreement on double taxation between the two countries.

    Kenya's delegation was led by Mr. Martin Gumo, HSC, Deputy Director, Economic Affairs at the National Treasury. The Belgian delegation was led by Mr Piet De Vos, Advisor, Tax Legislation Division of the Staff Department Strategic Expertise and Support, Federal Public Service Finance.

    Round two negotiations are scheduled to take place in Nairobi, Kenya, in 2015.
