    Brussels Marathon finish line

Kenyans once again graced the Brussels Marathon and performed reasonably well, finishing in the top ten. The overall second position went to Paul Kiprop, who finished in 2:21:20. The 6th and 7th positions were held by Mr. Edwin Melly and Mr. Jonathan Limo, who finished in 2:35:16 and 2.35:24 respectively.

The occasion was attended by H.E Amb. Johnson Weru, who congratulated the Kenyans on their performance despite the autumn weather conditions that Brussels is now experiencing. Ambassador Weru remarked that Kenyans have actively participated in the Brussels marathon since its inception in 2004, and held the number one position in 9 out of the 11 years of the Brussels marathon. Nonetheless, the Ambassador extended the Mission’s support and cooperation to future participants of the Brussels Marathon.
