Study Tour Visit to the European Parliament 15/04/2014

The Parliamentary Select Committee on Regional Integration of the Republic of Kenya visited the European Parliament in Brussels from 4 to 7 March 2014. The Kenyan Delegation was headed by Hon. Christopher Nakuleu, MP and Vice-Chair of the Parliamentary Committee. He was accompanied by Members of the Committee, Hon. Dan Kazungu, MP; Hon. Sarah Korere, MP; Hon. Cyprian Kubai Kiringo, MP; Hon. Murungi Kathuri, MP; Hon. Mary Seneta, MP and Delegation Secretary, Ms Esther Nginyo.

The delegation held constructive meetings with their European counterparts, together with Ugandan parliamentarians who had visited the European parliament for the same reason. Various topics were discussed, allowing the exchange of ideas and experiences on integration. It was a successful visit which culminated in a joint meeting held at the Kenyan Embassy.
