Invitation to join AKDBL 23/01/2014

The "Association of Kenyans in the Diaspora based in Belgium and Luxembourg" (AKDBL) was created with a vision to contribute to the emergence of a strong and vibrant federation of Kenyan Diaspora organizations in Europe.  It is a forum through which the diaspora can meet, discuss and maintain a sense of identity.  

Since its creation a few years back, the association has continued to work closely with the diaspora. On 7 December 2013, the first General Meeting was held in Brussels. Interim officials, including several Kenyans in the Diaspora, attended the meeting with the aim of charting the way forward for future engagement.

Top on the agenda was membership to the organization, and modalities for the nomination of candidates who will run for election in the upcoming Diapora officials elections, scheduled to be held in May 2014.
