Migration & Development; a nexus toward achieving MDGs 05/01/2010

In the just concluded Third Global Forum on Migration and Development, held in Athens, Greece, countries around the globe were called upon to explore practical and concrete ways to make the migration and development nexus work, particularly for the achievement of MDGs. This is in light of the realization that migration can and will continue to play a dominant role in the development of both countries of origin and destination. The Kenyan delegation to the forum was led by Hon. Otieno Kajwang, Minister for Immigration and Registration of Persons.
