Welcome to the official website of the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Brussels, Belgium. The site is equipped with vital information on tourism, investment and trade, information for the diaspora, consular matters and much more.

Having presented my credentials to His Majesty Albert II, King of the Belgians, on 13 March 2013, I take this early opportunity to convey my warm regards and best wishes to the government and friendly people of Belgium, Kenyans working and living in Belgium, and visitors to our website. The Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Belgium is accredited to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the European Union (EU).

Kenya offers one of the best foreign investment climates in the wider Eastern African region, being geo-strategically located at the confluence of the Great Lakes, Horn of Africa and Indian Ocean contiguity. As the gateway to nearly 10 landlocked countries in the region, there are several and extensive trade and investment opportunities. Kenya pledges to continue cultivating the already existing relationships with our traditional trade partners, and welcomes partnerships with developing and developed nations who desire a deeper and more mutually beneficial relationship. This Mission will be at hand to answer any queries for additional information.

The main focus of the mission's activities in Brussels is to foster relations with the EU and ACP institutions and member states, and enhance goverment, business and cultural cooperation with all interested parties in the European context. Kenya further remains committed to upholding cordial relations with Belgium and Luxembourg.  It will be my goal to further these relations in light of the Vision 2030 goals for Kenya’s economic, social and political development.

Kenya is a land of diverse cultures; a gateway to Africa’s major trading blocks, including the East African Community (EAC) and Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA). It is to this end that Kenya established an Honorary Consulate in Antwerp, Belgium, mandated to pursue Kenya’s economic interests.

It is my conviction that this website will be of assistance to all our visitors and members of the public. The Embassy remains at your disposal for further information.

Karibu (Welcome)
